Andy’s Dandys

Project

Andy's Dandys.

Andy’s Dandys (Owner Lucie and daughter Marie Claire) is dear to my heart. I hope they don’t mind me saying this but they are “the little engine that could.” They work tirelessly, are eager to learn and understand branding and have simply been great to work with. Designing the new packaging pouches was a study in communicating as much as possible on-pack while still delivering the shelf presence they needed. Dogs were the priority and if you know Lucie and Marie Clair at all, color had to be fun and bold. Around these two mainstays we had to communicate product and purpose with an emphasis on their purpose— focusing on supporting late teens and young adults with disabilities during the transitional time in life when they need to learn how to be an employee, teaching real work-based concepts and skills that students can take with them in their job search for future employment.

The new packaging has provided opportunities to have industry conversations that were once un-achievable. Upon delivery of the pouches they were accepted into a local Hannaford Food Market. The rest is a history still being written.
